Juan Fenollar was born in Cullera (Valencia) Spain, where he started his musical studies at the Academy of the Musical Society “Santa Cecilia” with the lecturers Elvira Chornet and Salvador Felix. Later he took higher studies of clarinet and harmony at the “Superior Conservatory for Music of Valencia with the lecturers Juan Vercher, Lucas Conejero and Jose Maria Cervera Lloret. At the same time, he studied clarinet with lecturer Jose Vicente Herrera.
His musical education continued at “Universität Mozarteum Salzburg” (Austria) with lecturers Alfred Prinz and Alois Brandhofer. Currently, he is extending his studies with the soloist clarinet of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Wenzel Fuchs.
He is a founder member of the Spain Young Chamber Orchestra.
He is now cooperating with many orchestras such as: Valencia Symphony Orchestra, RTVE Symphony Orchestra, Santa Cecilia Madrid Classical Orchestra and others. He is also cooperating with different chamber music groups and perfoms recitals together with a piano. One of his most important experiences has been collaborating with the Philarmonic Orchestra of Berlin under the direction of Simón Rattle.
In his career as a lecturer, he has been professor in the Superior Conservatory of Gran Canaria and he has been teaching lessons in musical schools around Spain and Italy. Currently, he is clarinet professor at Allegro Academy in Valencia.
As a soloist he has performed Mozart, Stamitz, Weber, Spohr… with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra, Asturias Symphony Orchestra, Valencia Philharmonic University Orchestra, Young Orchestra of the Valencian Community, Valencia Symphony Municipal Band, Alicante Symphony Municipal Band, Philarmonic Orchestra of Sibiu State (Romania), Modus Wind Ensemble (Italy) and Orchestra di fiati InCrescenDo (Italy).
He has dedicated a clarinet and orchestra concert dedicate to himself, just as clarinet and piano sonatas and a clarinet and string quintet.
He was soloist at the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra and now he is clarinet concertmaster of the Valencia Symphony Municipal Band.
