Laia Haro Catalan
Laia Haro Catalan, born in Amposta (Catalonia) in 1998, is studying her bachelor’s degree at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main with Prof. Laura Ruiz-Ferreres. She first learned both clarinet systems in Barcelona (Liceu Conservatory) and then in Frankfurt am Main.
She is the second winner of the Intercentros Competition in Catalonia in 2016 and the Chamber Music Competition of the Delta Chamber Music Festival. In 2016 she received two awards in clarinet and theory at the conservatory of Tortosa, Catalonia.
She often plays with orchestras and has also participated in various music festivals, such as the Rheingau Festival (Germany) and the Delta Chamber Music Festival.
Laia Haro Catalan is also active as an instrument pedagogue and teacher in music schools in Frankfurt am Main.
