She has received valuable artistic inspiration from masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Prof. Norbert Kaiser, Prof. Georg Arzberger, and Prof. Kilian Herold. During her studies, she also received chamber music coaching with various ensembles from professors including Diethelm Jonas, Boris Kusnezow, and Martin Spangenberg.
In the summer of 2023, she further refined her chamber music skills at the International Summer Academy for Chamber Music in Frenswegen. As part of this academy, she performed a guest concert at the Oldenburg Theater with her quartet consisting of clarinet, violin, piano, and cello.
Even during her school years, Laura Frank was a member of the preparatory program for the early promotion of highly gifted musicians (vIFF) at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. She successfully participated in competitions such as “Jugend musiziert” and the Hanns Bissegger Competition in Bielefeld.
Laura Frank also regularly performs with her sister, harpist Linda Frank, as a duo. Their repertoire spans works from the Classical period to contemporary music, with a particular focus on Late Romanticism and Impressionism. The harmonious blend of clarinet and harp is widely appreciated. Their concerts are noted for their exceptional musicality and innovative programming.
