Miriam Leuchtmann, born in Hamburg in 1990, completed her bachelor’s and master’s studies with Prof. Alexander Bachl at the University of Music and Performing Arts Hamburg after studying for a degree with Prof. Reiner Wehle at the University of Music Lübeck. There she is currently studying for a postgraduate degree in concert examinations with Rupert Wachter.
To her time as an academician of the Philharmonic State Orchestra Hamburg contracts with the Philharmonic Orchestra Kiel and the Bremen Philharmonic followed.
Miriam Leuchtmann is also active as an instrument pedagogue and lecturer and developed a novel instrumental didactic concept (www.connected-clarinets.de).
She is currently a scholarship holder of the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation as well as the Hamburgische Kulturstiftung.
